Traveling through the fertile landscape of eastern Europe, we discovered these exceptional Morello cherries flourishing in small groves.

What a delicious find! This tart cherry has a past as rich as its flavor. Prized by the ancient Greeks and Romans and later introduced to England, they found their way to an exceptional fruit-growing region in central Poland — and to us at Meduri.

Our Morellos have been hand-picked at their peak, then prepared by us in small quantities to maintain their ripest essence.

This deep burgundy cherry has more texture than common domestic varieties, a bit more tart with a slightly sweet note.

Savor them alone, or as a tasty addition to recipes. (By the way, your banana bread will never be the same.)
